Lost Roads comprises two adventure generators; one for the Lost Roads of Dol-Karok, and one for Xomorta, the forgotten realm of the Deep Strata.

The Lost Roads are a colossal network of crumbling ruins that once formed a vast undercity of the dwarves. The complex is thousands of years old, fifty miles wide and eight leagues deep (not dissimilar in scope to Tolkien’s Moria or Lovecraft’s Antarctic City in the Mountains of Madness). Lost treasures and secret lore await, but so too subterranean denizens – explore at your peril! The generator uses a “grid crawl” procedure based on the included map.

Xomorta is a “hollow world” like hive-vault of giga caverns and mega tubes, divided by mountainous walls, lava fields, and subterranean rivers. It encompasses scree plains, mudslopes, crystal plateaus, fungi forests, strange and scattered ruins, and bizarre creatures. Like the Lost Roads, curious treasures might be found, but they are not unguarded. This generator is a hex crawl, filling in the hexes as you go.

Danger: Could be anything really, but generally Moderate to High

      1. My biggest concern is how much of the previous books are useable with new version. As far I can tell, this replaces low fansty, and most content should be with minor modifications run solo eh?

      2. Yes ToA is LFG 2e (with significant changes). LFG adventures are highly compatible; the only real thing to look out for is ToA PCs have less hp (except for level 1-2) so most adventures will be harder for ToA PCs because of that. You might want to reduce monster numbers a bit. Hope this helps.
