G’day all – a sneak peek at the Argosa hex map for the boxed set (still playing around with hex brightness & labelling). This will be A1 size, six mile hexes.
I’ll do another video soon with a proof print (of which I have many) explaining the map. If you have any suggestions please let me know as there’s still time to tweak! Cheers and as always thanks for watching, Steve.

That map is looking absolutely fantastic. I’ve been meaning to check in on how things are going, was glad to get the notification. I also want to say, my brother and I have been playing a coop/gm-less campaign of ToA (about 6 sessions deep) and it has been a wonderful system and setting – lending to some great brother bonding time. ToA is quickly running up the ranks of all time favorites. Keep up the good work!

That is wonderful to hear, that’s one of the great things you can get out of RPGs, that bonding time isnt it – thanks so much for your support and comment! 😀

currently running two ToA campaigns. We have a question about naval artillery. What impact do the different types have on barrages? Why buy a heavy canon over a light one or a ballista? Thanks. Love the game, looking forward to the campaign box.

Cheers! It’s GM’s call as to any modifiers the various weapons impose. The example is a warship vs a sloop the warship rolls 1d20+3 on the Barrage roll (to reflect it’s better weaponry). So it is about comparing relative firepower, and applying a modifier based on that. If you prefer more guidance there were tables for the different weapons in LFG Deluxe but in ToA I simplified it.
